Washington –
The deadline for mailing Christmas packages to overseas soldiers is Oct. 15, the War Department reminded today. Unless the packages are mailed within two weeks, they will not reach men overseas by Christmas, the department said, urging immediate mailing to prevent a last-minute jam in Army post offices.
