Then… can I vote for all of them then? So… I could see how various news channels twisted it and what news anchors got swept in emotions and which remained uh… unfazed.
One network at a time, Ritvik. Just one for now
Make sure to check out the pre-attack broadcasts as well for your choice:
Unfortunately as I will be working I have not voted on the poll
You can do so at any time within 10 days Unless of course, you mean “not available for Sept. 11”
Yup I’ll be working night shift so I’ll be sleeping all day and slogging through a long 12 hr nightshift
I might hop in at some point, but I doubt I will be there for the whole thing like last year.
which one did we pick last year?
CBC was the pick last year (one of the networks I watched on that very day).
Sorry, have been rather absorbed with real life issues. I trust whatever is chosen.
You’ll see in three days’ time.
The poll has closed!
The 9/11/01 broadcast will be from the ABC.
Stream starts at 6:00 a.m. EDT. I’ll make sure to put forth a reminder at 5:30 a.m. EDT
Thanks again for running this event. I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer.
22nd anniversary stream alert!
I’m planning to do another anniversary stream the news coverage of the attacks on Kosmi for the purposes of remembering that fateful day. Make sure to vote before Sept. 11:
Which news network shall I go with for the 22nd anniversary stream on Kosmi?
- Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)
- Cable News Network (CNN)
- Fox News Channel (FOX)
- National Broadcasting Co. (NBC)
- Other news network (please specify)

The CBC and ABC are not in this poll since I’ve streamed CBC’s coverage for the 20th anniversary stream and ABC for the 21st. The BBC’s out because I’m still unable to find enough videos to make for my intended 24-hour stream.
What about Canadian news networks? Could be a fresh perspective on the attacks assuming a 24 hour footage exists?
Thus far, I’ve only found one that has the entire 24-hour coverage and that was streamed for the 20th anniversary. I am, however, open to any network suggestions as long as 24-hour footage is available.
Dang it. How about French News Networks that are in English?
I’ve never watched any of the footage. I was in downtown Manhattan on that awful day and had to live through it. I also lost a good friend in the Towers. He was cop and was in the process of rescuing people when Tower 2 collapsed. It’s a different perspective living through an event instead of watching it on television.
