Of note is that “Der Führers Face” was originally going to be called “Donald Duck in Nutzy Land”.
But the theme song “Der Führers Face” was released ahead of the cartoon, and became so popular it was decided to rename the cartoon the same as the song.
I recommend the song version by Spike Jones and his City Slickers.

My favorite Looney Tunes bit is the one where Daffy Duck was running from the guy from the Draft board. Which is doubly funny because at the start of the episode he was reading the paper and saluting the portrait of Eisenhower (I think).

I still recall as a kid, in the late 70’s, watching poor Donald Duck on TV, stuck in Nazi Germany. Not found on Disney+, of course.
