MAJORITY OF WOMEN VOTE AGAINST GOING TO WAR
Washington, May 9 (UP) –
The Women’s National Committee to Keep the United States out of War reported today that its recently completed poll of women showed that 94.9% of them were opposed to American involvement in a foreign war and union with the British Empire.
It said 5.1% voted for active participation, adding that 77% of the pro-war “came from Eastern seaboard states.”
