With Nazi Germany out of the war and several Japanese defeats, Thailand can have no doubs about the eventual defeat of their ‘ally’ Japan. Since Thailand only declared war on America and Britain in January 25 of 1942 after pressure from Japan and a Japanese victory would mean Thailand remaining a Japanese vassal state forever, there is no reason for Thailand to have amylose for their Japanese “ally”. When would Thailand have started their revolt against Japan, if there was no Japanese surrender on August 15 of 1945?
