Why Korea was known as The forgotten war

There were many reasons why the Korean War was known as the forgotten war starting with

WW2 was still very fresh on everyone’s minds and people were still in disbelief over how costly the war was both in material and human cost.

No country declared war on North Korea and was deemed a United Nations action and was often called “a Police Action” instead of a war therefore never got the support it would have if war had been declared.

Politics played a major part in it as well as most countries were still war weary and politicians all over the world were mindful of this and civilians were not ready or prepared for another war so soon after WW2.

There were many more reasons but there were the bigger factors in why this was the forgotten war.
