When did we start calling this war “World War Two?”

Having watched this series in order, and seeing the gradual escalation of the war, when exactly did we (I.e., newspapers and radio) start calling this the Second World War? And I imagine whenever it was, it coincided with us changing from “The Great War” to “The First World War?” Is there a specific date or headline or speech that historians agree upon?

Excellent! Thank you! Interesting how it was adopted at different times, and how none of the names anyone was pushing really stuck.
