What would have happened if Stalin had been assassinated in '44?

Hi Indy and gang, love your content and I hope all is well with you all.

What would have happened if Stalin had been assassinated in '44?
Who would have taken over and how much would that have slowed the Russian Army?
Thanks

By whom? Who is assassinating him?

What are the conditions for the assassination, who did it? Why and how did they do it? And when in 1944?

Who would have killed him? His cook, beria, zhukov? If they did so, why?

The short answer is no one. I see no reason for them to kill him, when they are pretty much whooping the rear end of the germans. Plus, all the people that could kill Stalin are dead. So… no one is shooting The red Tsar.

By exactly zero percent. By 1944, Stalin wasn’t micromanaging the front and his generals were doing almost whatever they liked. Killing him makes zero difference. Plus, all the red army guys aren’t russian. You have people from the stan countries, georgia, armenia, azerbeijan etc etc. I

Alternate history is good in TV shows, movies etc etc. But when you analyse the facts and evidences you will realise that ww2 always would ended up the way it had.

Yeah, depending on how Stalin was assassinated, and who did it, it would only effect Soviet politics and the level of paranoia in the government for years to come
