I’ve heard that the Germans looked down upon the Italians compared to other nationalities in Europe like say the Swedish. Did Hitler and the Nazi’s plan to keep the Italians around as allies long term should they have won the war?

Let us say, Germany somehow wins the war (they had a zero percent chance of winning), they would have turned on the Italians the Nazi’s looked down upon them and the Germans had to come and save Italy’s bacon many during the war. So when a victory is assured, why wouldn’t they?
