When you presented The Great War, one of the questions from Out of the Trenches was about South American Countries during WW1. Now I want to ask you what was their role in WW2.

Well Peru and Ecuador were at war in 1941, although it was mostly unrelated to ww2, the Peruvian army bought German Czech made panzers and Peru was the first nation in the Americas to successfully use an airborne assault to take a city. I believe several South American countries declared war on Germany. Post war, nazi war criminals did escape to Argentina and other countries.
