What was the difference between French rationing during WW1 and WW2?

I have a question regarding the difference of the rationing the french population experienced during WW1 and WW2? I read on the internet that the french did have some decent rationing during WW1 but during WW2 the rationing was a complete mess. Can you can us a overview of the food or other stuff the french population did have during the WW1 rationing but couldn’t or didn’t have during WW2?
