In WW1 there was the German mission to Afghanistan, and I was wondering if there was any similar operation in WW2. I know that at first Afghanistan wanted German aid and to join the Axis in the beginning of the war, but after the Allied invasion of Iran Afghanistan chose to remain neutral. After the war Germany gave a lot of their equipment to Afghanistan as a sign of friendship.
