Hi Indy & Team, as an Assyrian myself who had a great-grandfather in the Assyrian Levies in the 1920s, what operations were they used in and what was there impact on the Allied War Effort? Thanks!

Hi, I don’t know anything about 'em, but I did find a web page:

The Levies trace their history back to 1915; and count as battles Habbaniya (in 1941 in Iraq), Sarande in Albania (October 1944) and in Greece in late 1944 (against communists)
