I’ve been rewatching The Great War for the fourth time, and I was wondering what happened to the German Askari soldiers. I know they had received some pensions during the Weimar Republic, and again in the 1960s. But what happened to them during the period of World War Two? Did any remain in the German Army after the Great War, or were they just sitting around in Tanganyika? Keep up the great work Indy and team! By the way, I do miss hearing Indy say “this is modern war”
