Hello everyone! My name is Wouter and I am from the Netherlands. After many, many months, if not well over a year, I have been catching up with all the content from the start. And when I say start, I mean 28 July 1914, back on the Great War channel, jumping over to IBTW and then WW2. Now that I cought up, I figured that it was about time I signed up. I look forward to having many a interesting and civil discussion with you guys.
Hi Wouter and “welkom in ons forum”. I an Dutch too, just let me/us know should their be any questions. We had a great meetup last year in Normandy/Munich but nothing is planned for the future yet. Well at least we have the forum. Greetz!
Ha! They should organize a TimeGhost army too far event.
Welcome to the forum!
hello from france, after catching up with everything,i have to thank you for everything you’re teaching us,i learnt so many things i didnt learn at school, back when i was at school we were mostly talking about the resistence and what happened in france during the occupation, your youtube channel was recommanded to me when i was trying to educate myself about the pacific war,it’s truly sad that youtube is hindering the project to final victory so i decided to join the time ghost army and help us reach the final victory, god bless us

Bonjour mon ami,
Bienvenue/Welcome to the forum let me /us know should there be any questions. We have lot of French people and Spartacus is a real Francophile in a good way. The only thing Spartacus doesn’t like Cauchout Lajeunie, but Indy loves this quintessential French candy from Toulouse and me too!
All the best and I visit France several times a year and worked there for a while which was really cool. Also I was at the 2019 75 year Sannerville paradrop. Hopefully again next year,
And I am learning new stuff all the time from TG, you are welcome to share if you know any interesting things.
Best Regards.
Chew/Marc
Thank you guys for this great project!
Hello!
I would recommend that you check out the following website:
It is the site for a company that conducts tours of World War II locations and battlefields all across Britain, Europe and Italy and Sicily. I have gone on one of their Band of Brothers tours. It was amazing and simply fascinating!

Hello friends,
I’m quite new here! Are there any topics to show us newbies around? Such as where to find early access videos / further forum etiquette etc. I am a little confused
woopsie, did not see that the tutorial with the bot continues I’ve now completed it, capybara and all
Awesome! Hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to discussions about the war.
thanks!! I’ve been snooping around and enjoying it!!
Hello: This is one of my first posts. I enjoy the videos. My dad and his two older brothers served in the Pacific Theatre. Dad and Uncle Bob were in the Navy. Uncle Joe was in the Army. Dad was in a Navy Aviation support unit called ACORN 45. They built a base at Sangley Point on Subic Bay in the Phillipines. After mom died dad let stuff slip out. He was in an advance unit and he experienced some grim things. God’s Peace.
Welcome and thank you for your family’s service.
Your welcome. Take care.
I’ve studied Nazi Germany since 1968 and collected & sold German Militaria and Memorabilia. In all that time, had to ignore old materials as new enlightened evidence became available. I would say to people that I’m well versed in the NSDAP. BUT you have shown me that I know a little, but I know nothing. When involved with the rest of the internet world, my opinions are 99% wrong to most others. I Thank You ALL for more and better research then I could ever do.
Where can we buy the tickets for the October fest?
Please share the link!
Day 1 is sold out, but they still have tickets for Day 2 and the Meet and Greet.
Just discovered I can participate with a free tier. (I’m eighteen. Perhaps someday I can afford a paid tier.) Thrilled to be here! I’ve been following WWII for a year or so, and will follow Korea to the end. I hope to see a Vietnam series some day. My grandpa flew off the USS Oriskany.
Great you were there, it was big fun
Hello from Italy. I am so happy that I discovered your site and your series of documentaries. I started with the Korean War after that I played a tabletop game (warfighter wwII - pacific) that has some expansions which reproduce missions in the korean conflict with KpA, South Korean arrmy, UN and Chinese army.
I have to admit that, while WWII is something I read a lot about, Korean war was an almost unknown subject except for the MASH series that I loved when I was young.
Needless to say, now I am on the War against humanity, WW I and WW II series… As we say in Italy: “L’appetito vien mangiando” (Appetite comes while eating)
