Hi all.
From what I’ve read previously, Australia had been weary of an emerging Japanese Empire since before Federation. Of course there were fears that Japan would invade Australia during the war, and I imagine the Japanese viewed Australia as just part of the Western imperialism they ostensibly were fighting against.
But I wonder if there was any attempt or thought given, by either Australians or Japanese, to try and promote collaboration by Australia with the Japanese Empire?
