Was there a point where the Allies could have reduced or cut supplies to the U.S.S.R and still won the war?

Hi Indy and gang. Love your work. I know this is a hindsight question but was there a point where the Allies could have reduced or stopped supplies to the U.S.S.R and still win? Like the Soviets would have enough to defend and maybe push the Germans out of Russia but not enough to take all the territory that they ended up taking? Thanks and have a great week.

why do you want millions more to have died during WW2?

This seems like it would make an interesting alternate history video about “what if the Soviets never got Eastern Europe for the Cold War”

You might have been able to talk Churchill into this, but FDR? No, he didn’t believe Churchill and the British government about Stalin’s intentions and was convinced that if he just sat down in a room with Stalin the two of them could come to an amicable agreement on pretty much any topic. Stalin, of course, didn’t do anything to disillusion FDR until it was far too late.
