Wartime Industrialization

As we approach the end of 1942, I feel this topic has been missed. Wartime industrialization, labour relations and wage/pension promises had a profound impact in the United States and Canada. Entire new towns were built and the outlines of postwar consensus on economics were worked out. It also related to wartime strikes and labour unrest (not covered well in film documentaries but well documented in the literature) including the co-opting of unions.

We really should have an episode or special on this.
