So I guess war against humanity will be winding down now that the allies are clearly going to win the war. /s
Late answer, but there were a lot of issues after the end of hostilities. In Denmark, for example, German refugees came under the administration of the Danish government until such time that they could be returned to Germany.
This created a lot of problems, most notably feeding and housing and medicine, all of which tended to put all the refugees consistently in the back of the line, and this caused many refugees to attract disease and malnutrition, in many cases also causing death of old people, women and children.
It was stated at the time that Denmark didn’t have the resources to provide food and medicine and shelter, and the nation did suffer rationing for several years after the war, but regardless, there can be little doubt that many who died could have been saved even with the rationing going on. And other previously occupied countries saw similar problems.
I think that Spartacus could easily look into this side of the post war years.
