The Japanese-American 442nd Regimental Combat Team is the most decorated unit in US military history for its size. Their exploits are nothing short of legendary, and the circumstances in which they fought - some leaving families behind in US internment camps to volunteer to fight - deserve an entire episode devoted to their memory. I know that’s a story for 1943 or '44, but let’s be sure and get the story told.
