Turks report Nazis in all of Hungary

Ankara, Turkey (UP) –
The Turkish Anatolian News Agency reported today that German troops have occupied all of Hungary.

In a dispatch from Bucharest, the Agency said the occupation was understood to have been carried out while the Hungarian regent, Adm. Nicholas Horthy, and his generals were visiting Adolf Hitler’s Easter Front headquarters some time ago.

In London, it was pointed out that German military occupation of Hungary would only entail the dispatch of additional Nazi troops to supplement those already in the country. Hungary granted German troops the right of transit in 1941 and some have been there since that time.
