How come after the Great War I understand that Poland was to be granted access to the sea via West Prussia but I’m not sure why it was not East Prussia, seemingly decreasing the future of Germany’s issue of the so called “Polish Corridor” that would be one of many issues used as justification for the Nazi invasion to recover the land route to their now island of Eastern Prussia? Please help because I’m sure there are many reasons for this just not easy for me to find. Thanks for any help you can provide on my confusion over this issue.
