Somebody posed the question the other day about deserters during the war and it got me thinking about another topic along that line, so my question is, is anything known of any traitors, defectors or POW collaborators during the war and what happened to them?

a fairly comprehensive list but these are known allied traitors and their fates
****Edit I forgot to mention the big three (USSR, the US and Great Britain(not including colonies) had several hundred to several thousand(USSR) that were not listed but were treated as traitors and abettors for the axis who were mostly punished with jail or hard labour. The USSR was secretive about their numbers but it’s likely in the thousands that were persecuted with most being sentenced to death.
