Again I commend you on getting the story right and balanced, also reporting on the bombing of German civilians. This episode particularly, I would like to recommend a Novel by the French writer Laurent Binet: HHhH, telling the story of Heydrich and the assassination. It is a wonderful book and it really takes you back into time: a mustread! (I have the Dutch version: HhhH, ISBN 978 90 290 8651/NUR 302

I have a story here from city of Prague, where i live. Close to where i live the Anthropoid parachutists were apparently hiding for a little while. The family which was supposed to have housed them were afterwards interrogated by Gestapo. This is where this story takes a dark turn. The adults of the family haven’t said anything about the parachutists’ whereabouts, either not knowing anything or being brave. Well now it’s the turn to interrogate the children. The boy not saying anything in the beginning is shown his parents decapitated heads to pressure him into an answer. This story is told on a rather small plaque of a rather normal house in the centre of Prague which holds such a dark history. Whether all of these facts are all true I am not certain, but it is a spine chilling story none the less. Great job from the whole team of Timeghost for putting out such a great episode.
Thank you for sharing your story John! And welcome to our forum, I hope you will enjoy and you might also want to look up an English or Czech version of the book I recommend: HhhH.
I do believe you will, as an inhabitant of Prague, appreciate the read!
Kind regards from the Netherlands
