Hello, it does seem his support to it is debated among historian, I do wonder what are the sources on him supporting the plot. It does look like the plotter considered him. What’s the actual view on that debate?

As far as I know no evidence of him supporting the plot, exept prisoners of the GESTAPO naming him as a leader. The Nazis made a big propaganda show of his “heroic” death:

I don’t think there’s any hard evidence that he was involved, but he may have been aware of the conspiracy – and that would be enough to condemn him in Hitler’s eyes if he knew something and failed to report it.
