a 8205 oh, and you’re wrong about the Germans, the French, in fact the whole world not knowing about German atrocities. While the Holocaust only begins in nine days, the concentration camp system, the T4 euthanasia program, the mass murders in Poland, strafing of civilians, ethnic cleansing by forced migration, the ghettoization of Jews… all of this was known to anyone in the public that didn’t choose to pretend they didn’t know - in Germany, in France, the US, Great Britain, and many, many other parts of the world this had been covered in various news media. The governments even knew the details from their intelligence reports.
