Hello, still going through D day 24 hour and enjoying it, tho I wonder why the sound varry between segments, sometimes it’s lower (have to get the sound up for better sound in my hear pods).

Sound engineering is a tougher job than most of us understand. When the team has to put together several segments that were not recorded at the same time or in the same place, it will be very difficult for them to equalize the sound in the various segments sufficiently that you don’t get those weird louder/softer/louder transitions. Outdoor recordings are much more subject to this kind of variation, but even in the studio it can be difficult.
(I don’t know any of this from personal experience … my son’s brother-in-law was involved in high-end sound engineering for a while, and this is what I think I picked up from off-hand comments.)
