I’d like to see something on Between 2 Wars on the Decline of the British Empire. Despite its size at the time, like the Soviet Union in the 80’s, its system of operation was becoming incredibly weak.

“The Raj” is what the ruling government of India was called until 1947. In this context, the term refers to "The British Raj’, who were the British people running India. ‘Raja’ means ‘king’ or ‘Emperor’ in Sanskrit and Hindi.
