ROOSEVELT SLATED TO SET NEW R-DAY

Washington, April 10 (UP) –
Selective Service officials expect to hold a second draft registration this summer for young men who have reached the age of 21 since Oct. 16, the date of the original registration for compulsory military training. Details have not been arranged, but officials expect President Roosevelt to issue a proclamation setting the date of the original registration.

Last fall, more than 16 million men between the ages of 21 of 35, inclusive, registered. The new registration probably would involve a million more.
