The first car in Cyprus, brought by a French educated Cypriot doctor on December 8, 1907, a Peugeot Type 69 Bébé. The locals were shocked to see “a cab without horses” and when the doctor visited remote villages on the mountains, the villagers tried to “feed” the car with hay and give it water “to not be thirsty”
