I’d like to share with you a website I recently came to know of, which hosts a huge array of historical radio broadcasts/shows/recordings - of course absolutely legal and put together by enthusiastic hobbyists and in part even professional radio historians. You can hear some of the radio speeches of Churchill or King George VI on the breakout of war, interviews and stories from war reporters or the breaking news by the BBC that Hitler is found dead.
There is a lot more to discover and some of the stuff is not only an astonishing historical document but also just really great radio.
