While trying not to break chronology, there is much interesting research and policy efforts that begin in 1942 in Britain, the United States and Canada.
I hope we can expect an episode on these efforts.
I would also add that I live 40km north of Port Hope, ON, where the Eldorado Refinery, the only radium and uranium refinery in Allied hands stands. The plant is still operational and still refines uranium. The present company name is Cameco.
