With or without the nationalistic government?
Once they fell from power, it no longer became the official narrative. However, it is worth noting that the nationalists did extremely well in the last regional elections, and one of their key selling points is - Never North, Only Macedonia. This is for the Greek side.
For the Bulgarian side, racism is prevalent in all political parties. The nationalists actually nominated a woman for mayor of Skopjie, and the non-nationalists attacked her for… having Bulgarian citizenship. There were even billboards stating ‘We don’t want a Bulgarian mayor!’. She still won though, and the non-nationalists got some really bad press.
Nothing to spoil, really. A good part of it is just the usual “we’re being fair” spiel while contradicting themselves in the same stream (when someone asked about the Ukraine). The U.S. Army racism special is one piece of definitive evidence that they’re not being fair. It’s one thing to admit to being biased, it’s another to put up a mask of neutrality while ignoring sources that run contrary to their narratives, like the racism and “Serbian collaboration” specials.
The polls, while interesting, are a little annoying when trying to type your questions.
BTW, it’s not just those who donated whose questions were answered, so God only knows why my questions weren’t answered, even the non-controversial question on sharing Hale-Bopp stories.
This Bulgarian side is not in Bulgaria, but in Nordmacedonia? Where there
are Macedonians and Bulgarians because Jossif and Jossip said so?
