Whatever one thinks about QE2, I did find this speech enjoyable and historic. Especially because she sneaked Into the crowd in uniform and she was chided by another officer for being improperly dressed.

Kudos to the excellent homefront episodes from Anna Deinhard and team which included a similar speach AND the context of the speech from Elizabeth 2nd and her sister Margaret a whopping 75+ years ago.
