NAZIS BAN SENDING OF NEWS AT NIGHT
Berlin, Oct. 21 (UP) –
German authorities announced today a complete prohibition, effective at once, on the dispatch from Germany of any military news whatsoever between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Berlin time (4 to 11 p.m. ET).
The prohibition applies not only to foreign but to German news organizations and the radio.
It covers news either favorable or unfavorable to Germany, informants made it plain, and applies to all news with any military connection, including reports of German air activity over Britain.
