While the US provided the vast majority of ships during the Korean War I believe 2 aircraft battle groups were involved other countries like Austrailia, Canada, Great Britain , New Zealand, Columbia, France , Netherlands and Denmark all provided various naval vessels although Denmark did not provide warships it provided a Hospital Ship. Everything from Battleships to destroyers, cruisers, support and supply vessels were provided by various countries along with landing craft and repair ships.
As to the Wisconsin it was true as 1 North Korean battery hit the ship with 1 155mm shell causing minimal damage and minor injuries the Wisconsin in reply aimed all its 9 inch guns at the battery that fired the shell and completely obliterated it. One US escort sent a message to the Wisconsin “Temper, Temper”
