Microprose is back, any ex-players

In the 1980s Microprose revolutionized historical games with titles that Were shipped with comprehensivehistory books.

E.g.
Civilization, Railroad Tycoon, Pirates, Helcat ace, Darklands (a very good 14th century Germany simulator game), Silent Service, Gunship, F-19 Stealth fighter which use realistic Rules of engagement), B-17 etc etc.

Well they are back, Wild Bill Stealy will release games again next year.

My favorite was Silent Service 2 with a fantastic manual. Also it didn’t shy away from US war crimes. See page 98, most history books ignored those at it the time. The manual makes a great read even today.

Furthermore it recreate the tension of the patrols with losing bases in the early war, crappy mark 14s and trying to stem the Japanese steamroller with slow S-boats.
