I’ve been up to see my parents who live in a town called Sherburn in-Elmet in Yorkshire, England and while unassuming on the surface, this was where they built the Fairey Swordfish bi-planes That torpedoed the rudder on the battleship Bismarck. There is a monument commemorating this in the town centre which should hopefully be attached.
