Wojtek: a bear found as a pup by the Polish Corpse in Iran, it accompanied them throghout the Italian Campaign including Montecassino.

During early 1942 there was a massive paranoia in the USA of a possible japanese invasion of the East Coast, gas masks were issued to civilians and in order not to lower their morale they decided to use Mickey Mouse’s face for their appearance…this didn’t last.

On the right we can see John Churchill (also known as Mad Jack) carrying a broadsword during a training, he always carried this weapon along with a longbow while fighting in several theaters, he ended WW2 with 6 medals.
