Is it true that Joachim von Ribbentrop’s von was fake ?
His birth name was Ulrich Friedrich Wilhelm Joachim von Ribbentrop and considering von means from (or of) in German and he was the son of Richard Ulrich Friedrich Joachim Ribbentrop, the answer is no, the von in his name wasn’t fake. Even if it was, what was the point?

I saw a TV show once that claimed he was in exile/hiding in England and called himself Ron Vibbentrop.
