In the future. 20th July 1944

A question that has been nagging away at me. I’m not sure you are able to see into the future or not.

von Stauffenberg (hope I spelt that correctly) had two bombs. He managed to prime one of them but could not prime the second so he took it away with him and dumped it as the left the “Wolfs Lair”.

Did the second bomb even need to be primed? Would it not have exploded at the same time and given twice the explosive force?

We credit the fact that an aide moved the bag behind a table support and thus saved Hitler but had both bombs been used then surely this would have been enough to kill the bastard (ooops I mean Furher)?

Would be interested in what people think on this

Cheers
Tony

PS . Your D-Day coverage wat just epic!!

My hope for any hypothetical 20 July plot special is not to whitewash any of the nazis involved in it (Wolf-Heinrich Graf von Helldorff, Arthur Nebe,Georg von Boeselager, Eduard Wagner, and some more I probably forgot.)
