In 1938, Austria was Anschlussed by Germany, and in the following years, a sizeable portion of the Austrian Population helped in the liquidation of Austrian Jews. However, Amoungst the Austrian Populous, A Resistance was formed. How important were they?

I was doing research on the Austrians involvement in the Holocaust, which left the Pre-Anschluss Austrian Jewish population of 190,000 to only 800 by 1945.

I couldn’t find much on the Austrian Resistance during the war, and was wondering if you could shed more light on that.

Also, love the series, Keep it up!

There is an old joke: There’s no Nazi like an Austrian Nazi.
