How were the allied prisoners of war liberated by the advancing soviets treated post liberation? And was there any difference in how say a British or an American or French POW would be treated post liberation by the red army?

Was there any sort of conflict or mistreatment from the soviet authorities due to a level of mistrust between both the parties?

Here is a link to Reddit post with same question asked. It’s a bit of a read but explains fairly well Russian treatment of allied POWs the liberated.
