i’m talking about the “classic” clean wehrmacht/clean x german general and the wehrmacht tech wank. At least the magazine on ww2 I’m reading don’t have as much myths as they used to and I’m wondering if odcumentaries still push for the uber wehrmacht myth too, I reccall some did do tech wank as well.

Along with open antisemitism, clean Wehrmacht beliefs are booming on social media. I don’t have a good handle on whether it’s always been this bad but people were afraid to be open about their beliefs or if it’s a relatively recent surge of historical illiteracy.

even despite recent publication now pretty much debunking the myth, jean lopez biography on guderian per example did debunked the myths arpund the general the clean wehrmacht, same with ian kershaw book on hitler.
