Hello, while watching nazi germany propaganda with the “die deutsche wochenschau”, I noticed even in the 1945 one, they’re trying to sell some kind of victory. Usually, they’ll use the victorious music and often exagerate or fabricate soldiers actions (ie “X soldier did X amazing feat against the red army” per example). There’s also interviews, per example the one with rudel while he was on bed (it seems verry scripted, I wonder how much of the wochenschau interviews where).
I wonder who in 1945 would be able to watch them, not sure there were a lot of cinema working in nazi germany at this point.
