Mexico, Brazil, and various Central American countries joined the allies during the war, but few of them actually sent any troops of their own to fight. Just about all Latin American countries would declare war on Germany in the last months of the war, but that was mostly so they could be a part of the United Nations. Did anyone from these countries volunteer for the allied armies on their own?
