People generally know that my homeland, the Philippines was invaded during the 2nd World War by Japan. It had been discussed in my history classes that pockets of guerrilla forces were formed/emerged after the surrender, comprising of former Philippine Army personnel and normal people, especially farmers. However, they did not clearly stated how effective and useful were these forces.
