Hi West-Papua did not become part of Indonesia untill the 60s (and nowadays a lot of them want to be independent from Indonesia). How did they participate or not in the war for an independent Indonesia?
PS The TV Series on Indonesia is fantastic, great history and not the “great things happened there” books which circumvented the horrors. Moreover Indy got his pronounciation of the names spot on :-).
