I consider the Gurkhas to be the most impressive warriors from any side to fight in either World War. I’ve heard the story of Lachhiman Gurung fighting in Burma, can you please tell all the rest of the amazing stories and myths surrounding these legendary fighters?
While in Afghanistan I was at a British base for a couple of weeks at one point, and there was a company of Gurkhas there. They were and are the nicest, friendliest men I’ve ever met, and the respect and loyalty shown them by other British and Allied soldiers was a testament to their fighting skill.
