Hello, I wonder why documentaries so often uses the same footages. The show the world at war and the WW2 channel shows there’s a ton of not so well known footages documentaries can use to illustrate a battle or historical figures. Is it copyright issues? I think they can use footages from newsreel, they just have to add a small text saying it’s propaganda footage.
